The hospice initiative shaped the peace prayer at the church Maria Hilf in Krumbach. Marianne Mayer from the board had written texts on the theme “A listening heart”, read by her, Dr. Anneliese Hösch, Monika Drexler, Regine Fasel and Christian Pagel. The starting point was young King Solomon’s request for a listening heart. Jochen Schwarzmann accompanied on clarinet and piano. The hour closed with the Lord’s Prayer and the blessing.

1,000 euros from the estate of painter Erika Demmeler

At the Galerie am Wasserschloss the hospice initiative received a donation of 1,000 euros. Martina Unglert had offered around 200 drawings and watercolours by the late artist in exchange for donations. Angelika Hosser from the trade association and Erika Demmeler’s painting friend Brigitte Schuster prepared the exhibition in the gallery of Karlheinz and Ulrike Schoblocher. Many pictures found new owners and remain connected to the painter and the initiative. Peace prayer “On the road with hope”

Prepared by Marianne Mayer. Being on the road runs like a thread through the history of humankind and almost all religions. With the Emmaus story from Luke’s gospel, a reflection on the painting “On the road with the Lord” by Sister M. Emmanuela Köhler from Oberschönenfeld and music by Jürgen Groß and Jochen Schwarzmann, the hour was a soothing resting point in turbulent times.
